Submissions Welcome!

Two-Lane Livin' welcomes articles of interest to Central West Virginia readers. We list all public events in our monthly calendar at no charge. To submit your event, send the event date, location, time, purpose, AND contact information NO LATER THAN the 15th of the month PRIOR to the month you want your event listed to:
 

We welcome submissions, but are not currently accepting any new monthly columnists. Additional themes will be considered as the publication expands. We do not publish articles that are political in nature. Submissions should be family-friendly, educational or informative, and positive about the Central West Virginia region.

Articles may be edited for style or content in order to conform to the style and mission of the paper. The article should be written in a professional manner, including complete sentences, proper grammar and correct punctuation. 

Articles should be 500 words or less in length, and should be e-mailed to the publisher in the body of an email, or as an attached Word document. Pictures are encouraged. Contributions should be received no later than the 15th of the month prior to their intended publication. 
 
Credit for authorship is gladly given as a byline. Mention of a specific business, or any promotion of a business event or activity within the article is not permitted.  Articles submitted by advertisers may not have the business name in the text or invite patronage in any way, but can include the author's name and business name in a one-sentence bio at the end of the article. At their discretion, Two-Lane Livin' will also provide contact information and/or business status to establish the author’s credibility.
 
Not all articles included in the print edition are published on our web site. Articles that have been published elsewhere should not be submitted.
