What
exactly is Two-Lane Livin'?
Two-Lane Livin'
is classified as a magazine. With a full-color cover and back
page, and newsprint paper on black ink on most of the inner pages,
Two-Lane Livin', is designed to be a guide to
entertainment, recreation and healthy living in Central West Virginia.
Distributed once a
month, 15,000 copies of Two-Lane Livin' are distributed through the
counties of the Central West Virginia region, including Braxton,
Calhoun, Clay, Gilmer, Roane, Lewis, Wirt, Nicholas, and Doddridge,
Upshur and Ritchie Counties. Readers
can find copies on store counters, in waiting rooms, laundromats,
court houses and other venues throughout the region.
On the first day of
every month, the main features of Two-Lane Livin's publication are
updated online at
www.twolanelivin.com. Also during the first week of every month, a
two-hour Two-Lane Internet Radio Show expands upon the contents of each
month's issue.
What information is in
Two-Lane Livin'? Who writes it?
Regional news highlights are
provided by each county newspaper within the region. The event calendar
is created by scouting regional announcements in print and on the web
and via submissions. Press releases from state offices, parks, and
groups are also reviewed every month for publication.
Columnists for the magazine have been
recruited from the local region. Some are published in other local
media, some have never written for print before, but all of them are
knowledgeable in their field. Topics covered by our columnists include:
preventative medicine, holistic nutrition, organic gardening, local
plant and wildlife, recycling, saving money, regional travel, real
estate tips, parenting tips, music reviews, lessons in faith, community
development, and more.
Where can I get a
copy?
Our print edition is the only version of our output that
includes all we have to offer. The crossword puzzle and kid's activity
page, news highlights, classifieds and press releases are not always
published on our web site.
Print copies are distributed into
fourteen counties of the Central West Virginia
region.
Our list of distribution locations is
constantly growing. But you can easily find our publication each month
in waiting rooms, on college campuses in the region, in county court
houses, laundromats and local stores and restaurants. Look for our
display rack.
If Two-Lane Livin' is free to the reader, how it
is funded?
We do not charge
for our print copies. Because it is free, our publication reaches a
unique, expanded audience in additional locations and venues. The
magazine, web site, and radio show are all funded by advertising
dollars, sponsorships and donations. We also receive income through our
online store at
www.twolaneshoppin.com.
Why should
Two-Lane Livin' be my main advertising contact?
Two-Lane Livin'
offers more options for any business interested in marketing than any
other local media. Options for advertising start as low as $5. In
addition, we have formed partnerships with local media that allows the
client to purchase ads in all Two-Lane partnered media.
We currently offer
advertising in our magazine, on our web site, and on our radio show. But
we also offer advertising in
The Calhoun Chronicle and their web site, and in the
patent-pending search directory of
WVyourWay.com. Businesses can deal
with four media companies with an option of eight different media
outlets, through one contact.
But our services go even
farther. We can design your print ad according to The 13 Proven
Points of Print Advertising, and The 10 Effective Elements of
Print Advertising, the highest standards listed for advertising in
print. We can provide your with methods to track the effectiveness of
your advertising, suggestions to get the most return on advertising
dollars.
Even beyond all this,
our sales representatives can help clients in the tourism business apply
for a possible 75% rebate on all funds spent with our print media
partners through us.
